- Mobile Deposit - Our iPhone and Android Mobile Banking Apps offer the ability to deposit a check right from your smartphone. You can simply take a picture of your check and upload it into your account right through the Genisys Mobile Banking App. Just select the Mobile Deposit icon from your App home screen to launch the “picture taking” function. Click a picture of the front of the check and the back of the check and submit your deposit in just a matter of seconds. It’s as simple as that!
- Online Deposit - If you prefer, you can make a check deposit using a scanner and your PC. Just sign into your Online Banking account and select the “Online Deposit” tab from the navigation bar. You will need to use a scanner to scan and save an image of the front and back of check and then you can upload these into your account.
Genisys utilizes a proprietary rating system with certain eligibility requirements to qualify members for Remote Deposit.
For example, members who fit the profile below have a very good chance of qualifying for Online Deposit.
- 18 + years of Age
- Credit union member for a minimum of 60 days
- Actively uses the credit union’s services with no negative history on their account
- Enrolled in Online Banking
Funds will show in your account immediately and standard check holds will apply (refer to our Funds Availability Policy).
