Auburn Hills, Mich. - June 11, 2013 -- Genisys Credit Union was recently the presenting sponsor for Eagan’s July 4th Funfest. The Funfest has been a tradition in Eagan for many years. This year, the celebration was held at Eagan’s Central Park, with the theme “Big Bang”.

With over 125,000 people in attendance, the Funfest was a great success.

“Eagan’s July 4th Funfest had record crowds attend the parade and fireworks this year,” said Mike Ferber of FunFest.

The festival offered a wide array of activities, including a huge parade, entertainment for people of all ages, a large variety of food and game vendors, midway carnival, and a spectacular evening of fireworks on July 4th.

“This event has become a part of the City of Eagan’s history,” said Jackie Buchanan, President/CEO. “Genisys is proud to be a part of something that brings together so many families and celebrates our country’s independence.”
