The kick-off of the newest Operation Medicine Cabinet™ prescription drug drop-off location in Oakland County will occur at the Sheriff’s Pontiac Substation with Sheriff Bouchard, Genisys Credit Union, and local officials in conjunction with Earth Day, which is Wednesday, April 22nd, at 1:00pm. This location will be the 26th Operation Medicine Cabinet™location in the county. Additionally, the remaining five Sheriff’s Office substations in Addison Township, Lyon Township, Oakland Township, Oxford Township, and Springfield Township will also be Operation Medicine Cabinet™ drop-off sites thanks to our generous sponsors Genisys Credit Union, North Oakland Community Coalition, and the Alliance of Coalitions for Healthy Communities.
Any individual wishing to drop off their outdated or unused prescriptions is encouraged to attend. Hours for prescription drug collection at this location will be 24 hours/7 days a week.
