Genisys Credit Union has been awarded first place on the Forbes list of Best-In-State Credit Unions 2022 for Michigan. This is the third year in a row that the credit union has been recognized on the list.

Forbes partnered with market research firm, Statista, to survey 26,000 US consumers who were asked to rate credit unions at which they have or previously have had checking accounts. Participants made recommendations regarding overall satisfaction; they also assessed banks in the following areas: trust, terms & conditions, branch services, digital services, customer service, and financial advice.
Built on the principle of putting members first, Genisys Credit Union gives back with their Genius High Yield Checking, which pays members an annual percentage yield (APY) of 4.07% and offers debit card rewards. For those 18 and under, they have a High Yield Youth Savings with an APY of 5.12% on balances up to $500. “By growing their savings, this program aims to help our youngest members learn the importance of financial literacy in reaching their financial goals,” said Buchanan.
