On December 8th, Genisys Credit Union was awarded the Moceri Companies Building Awareness Award at the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce’s Silver & Gold Awards. They received the award in recognition of building their company awareness through a legacy of giving.

Building on over 85 years of impact, Genisys exemplifies the credit union narrative of “people helping people.” From volunteering in their communities to raising funds for non-profit organizations and  promoting financial literacy, the credit union is continuously told “Genisys is everywhere;” driving awareness as your local community credit union.

Their approach in giving is built on a commitment to their communities and understanding each community has unique needs that change as local economies strengthen, communities grow, and landscapes evolve. 

To give back, they hold strong partnerships with area nonprofits; annually volunteer more than 4,000 hours of their time at community events; host financial reality fairs with area schools to strengthen students' understanding of financial literacy & budgeting; provide micro-grant opportunities for small businesses and more.
