History of Genisys® Credit Union
Genisys® Credit Union is a relatively new name, but not a new credit union. In November 2008, T&C Federal Credit Union and USA Credit Union joined forces to become one of the largest credit unions in Michigan.
T&C Federal Credit Union had provided financial services since 1936, and served all who live or work in Oakland County and specific geographic locations in Ypsilanti. T&C Federal Credit Union had in excess of $600 million in assets and served 65,000 members through thirteen owned branches.
USA Credit Union had been in operation since 1954 and most recently served those who live or work in nine counties of southeast Michigan and two counties in Minnesota. USA Credit Union served more than 66,000 members across the country with over 600 million in assets and ten dedicated branches.
Today, Genisys® has over 120,000 members and grew to $1.2 billion with 25 branch locations, including 2 in Minnesota and 1 in Pennsylvania.
